Big news folks! To kick-off a new cooking program, the Fullerton Arboretum has asked Jonathan Duffy Davis and Jonathan Dye to host the first cooking class of the 2015 season! We are happy to announce that on Thursday, February 26th at 6pm OurLocaltopia will be back in the Arboretum’s kitchen for a fun and educational demonstration style cooking class… And of course we want you to join us!
Inspired by Jonathan Dye’s recent trip abroad, the theme of this class is Italian Farmhouse Cooking. Experience the best of casual Italian cooking as we show you how to introduce the flavors of the Italian countryside into your dishes. We will cover essential techniques behind braising and making your own fresh ricotta cheese and pasta. Bring a friend (or a date!) and enjoy an evening of our entertaining instruction alongside dinner in the form of our teaching menu. Check out that menu below and get a little preview of what’s in store by having a look at our video tutorial on making ricotta cheese
. Sign up for the class on the Arboretum’s website here
