We are so pleased to announce that Jonathan Duffy Davis and Jonathan Dye will be returning to the Fullerton Arboretum for ongoing demonstration style cooking classes this Spring and Summer! Beginning this Thursday, April 23rd, the Jonathans will bring you insightful menus, dedicated instruction and lots of fun in a selection of monthly classes. For anyone who has not attended these classes in the past, know that they include both an evening of detailed and entertaining instruction, as well as a full multi-course dinner in the form of the menu being taught. April 23, 2015 – A Seasonal and Sophisticated Entertaining Menu
Focus on a menu that is exciting and fulfilling, without meat as the centerpiece! We guarantee you won’t miss the meat in these preparations, which showcase abundant spring produce at its best. Celebrate the lively flavors of spring with this meatless menu. $60 per person.
On The Menu: Lemon Prosecco Fizzes, Aromatic Herb Flatbreads, Seasonal Greens with Fennel, Fruit and a Dijon Vinaigrette, Asparagus Goat Cheese Tart, and Strawberry Lavender Hand Pies served with Ice Cream.
May 28, 2015 – Early Summer Celebration
A popular practice in restaurants, farm-to-table cooking is easy to do at home. We’ll show you how to prepare a dinner that incorporates the freshest early summer produce. In this class you’ll discover creative ways to feature vegetables and fruits from your farmer’s market or even your garden. We’ll look at every course of the meal, from the appetizer through the desert. $60 per person.
On The Menu: White Wine and Berry Spritzer, Crudite with Aioli, Beet and Butter Lettuce Salad, Grilled Fennel-Rubbed Pork Loin with Citrus Compote and Frozen Lemon Mousse.
June 25, 2015 – All-American Barbeque
From the appetizer to the dessert, every dish on this menu can be cooked on your backyard barbecue. What better way to welcome the Summer Grilling Season? These creative recipes will inspire you, highlighting some of summer’s best flavors. $60 per person.

This class focuses on preparations with summer’s abundant produce, ideal for enjoying outdoors on a warm evening with friends and family. Discover the pleasures of eating seasonally and locally. We will show you how to transform summer’s bountiful produce into an impressive meal. $60 per person.
